HSBC launches credit cards

Karachi—The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) have announced launch of the HSBC Credit Cards for Pakistani customers. Set to revolutionize the industry in Pakistan, it presents an offering that is entirely unique to the current credit card market. Apart from providing a range of privileges and instant recognition around the world, HSBC Credit Cards local adaptability and global presence will allow consumers numerous local as well as global benefits available only to its Card members. Later this year they intend to launch Islamic Banking arm, HSBC Amanah in Pakistan. They shall also capitalize on the benefits of HSBC’s advanced technology in order to serve the upcoming younger generations’ changing lifestyles, with the launch of internet banking for retail and business customers.

Nasr has been a member of the HSBC family since 1976 where he held numerous positions contributing to the strategic growth and development of the bank. To name a few, he has been the Group Managing Director, President of HSBC Bank Brazil, President and CEO of HSBC Bank Canada as well as USA. With his experience and vision, Nasr is leading HSBC Bank Middle East to escalate further and excel in providing quality financial services to its customers.
Established in 1982, HSBC Pakistan has brought the best of global banking expertise to the country and is recognized as one of the most trusted banks in the region. In the last two years it has expanded branch network from one city of Karachi, to 7 major cities.
